Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (PHILANTHROPIC) (2-1) - Lightly raced, well bred, and fast from the gates, she's won two in a row since a private trainer change to Jay Servis. Both wins came at Monmouth and she is moving way up in class. However, she has the rail, plenty of room for upside, and I like that Irad Ortiz Jr is getting aboard.
2nd pick: #7 (Majestic Reason) (3-1) - Very competitive filly has gone 9-4-3-2 to date. A stakes winner as a 2yo last Fall, she enters off a 3rd place finish here in the G2 Gallant Bloom Stakes Sep 22. 4yo has a stalking style, a good outside post, and she's a win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (Honor Way) (6-1) - Veteran mare has more wins (8) than any other entered. Stakes placed in the past, 5yo rallied to win at this distance facing $35K starter-allowance foes Oct 16 at Belmont. A fast/and or contested pace would help her chances out.
4th pick: #6 (Saguaro Row) (5-1) - Daughter of 'Union Rags' has talent and she finished 2nd in the Shine Again Stakes at this distance July 31 at Saratoga. Two starts later, she missed by a length in Laurel's version of the Shine Again Stakes at the same trip Sep 28. In the mix.
