Daughter of 'Majestic Warrior' was purchased for a hefty $300,000 this past March as a 2-year-old in training sale at Ocala. In shape, working well, and she gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #4 (Taken By Surprise) (7-2) - Repole home bred has raced evenly in her first pair of starts. Each has been at this level going longer on the grass. Trainer Todd Pletcher switches her to the dirt, shortens her up, and has her working fast. Dangerous with those moves.
3rd pick: #3 (Rock Garden) (5-1) - She missed by a 'head' at odds of 50-1 when debuting at this level and distance Aug 15 at Saratoga. Bet down to 3-1 in her follow up race, she ran evenly while not threatening. Dangerous with her best.
4th pick: #8 (Pirouette) (6-1) - One of five making their debuts, she was sold for $130,000 this past May. Working well and that includes a bullet half-mile breeze at Belmont Oct 13 (best of 30 that morning).
