Top pick: #4 (TAPITATION) (8-5) - Grey colt was an impressive maiden winner here at this trip on Feb. 8th in only his second start, and first around two-turns. Colt cost $330K as a yearling, is working nicely, and looks to have a bright future.
2nd pick: #8 (Storm) (4-1) - One of two entered by trainer Todd Pletcher, and the pair race uncoupled. Gelding has been competitive in all three starts and missed by a "neck" here at this level and distance on March 2. Speed/stalker is an obvious threat.
3rd pick: #9 (Frost Jordan) (5-1) - Stretch-out sprinter has gone 3-1-1-1 to date, and last out ran a close up third here going 6-furlongs facing state-bred allowance foes. Bred to like this longer trip, he's a threat if he avoids a wide trip.
4th pick: #5 (Pax in Terra) (7-2) - The second of the Pletcher pair, he exits the same last race as "Storm" and was just over a length back of that rival. Stalker is nicely bred and must be left in the mix.
