Top pick: #4 (GOLDEN GALAXY) (2-1) - Very fast from the gate, she set the pace and gamely held down the place spot when racing here at this level and distance on Feb. 13. Race was her second off a seven week break and first off a Jay Servis claim. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #1 (Ornellia) (5-2) - Lightly raced filly by "Broken Vow," she hasn't seen action since breaking her maiden sprinting on the Belmont turf on July 1st. She has talent and was prepared for her return by trainer Jim Bond at the Palm Meadows center in Florida. Win candidate if ready.
3rd pick: #2 (Nine Loves) (6-1) - Another who's lightly raced and she broke her maiden here as a heavy favorite on Feb. 21. She then raced evenly while finishing fourth at this level on March 9th. Blinkers are added for the first time today.
4th pick: #6 (Dandy's Noble) (4-1) - Home-bred was an impressive maiden winner here on Feb. 1 and trainer Bruce Levine has had her freshening up since. Filly is working fast at Belmont and must be left in the mix.
