Top pick: #4 (PRECIOUS PRIDE) - Trainer (Bruce Levine) is not known for first-out success, but is one of the best second time out. This filly had some problems in her debut and finished a troubled third. She's worked well since, and as we mentioned, Levine is 27% with second-time starters, and he also adds lasix, a 29% positive move. Dominguez takes the re-ride.
2nd pick: #8 (Dorothy's Essence) - Logical contender finished second last out in her second back off a five-month layoff. Best used in a stalking position and she's a win threat with that strategy.
3rd pick: #2 (Spancill Hill) - Daughter of "Lite The Fuse" debuts for one of the most dangerous barns in the business (Richard Dutrow Jr.). All her works are on this surface and the latest is her best.
