He then had a very wide trip finishing 3rd at this level and distance and was a 'neck' behind today's rival 'Scoreswhenhewants.' He has a flexible style, room for upside, and gets a slight edge in this one.
2nd pick: #7 (Scoreswhenhewants) (2-1) - As mentioned above, he was a 'neck' in front of 'High Amplitude' here at this level and distance Feb. 16. He's gone 4-1-3-0 since being claimed by Brad Cox for $50,000 Sept. 13 at Belmont and is an obvious contender.
3rd pick: #3 (Shadow Rider) (6-1) - This old-timer moves up in class after rallying to win by a 'nose' here at this distance for a $25K tag Feb. 2. It was his eighth career victory and came in his first race since July 11. A fast and/or contested pace would help this veteran's chances out.
