2nd pick: #7 (William Thomas) (8-1) - Very speedy veteran has an outstanding overall record of 47-15-12-4 and is racing first off a Gary Contessa claim. Eight-year-old gelding has won here in the past and has a bullet 3-furlong breeze six days ago for the new barn. Very dangerous, especially if "Disco" isn't ready off the long break.
3rd pick: #5 (Say Mr Sandman) (5-1) - He's finished second in two straight here facing a bit weaker, the latest on Jan. 9 when he earned a nice "figure." Speed/stalker is in shape and must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #1 (Southbeachsandy) (10-1) - Longshot has the rail and is racing for only the third time since coming off an 11 month layoff in eary Nov. May hang on for a small award if he improves a bit.
