Race was her first back off a two month break and trainer Scott Volk brings her back quickly at the same level and distance. 5-year-old has a flexible style, draws the rail, and can win this from just off the pace.
2nd pick: #3 (Stormandaprayer) - The main speed of this small field and she's working fast for her first start since Nov. 20. Filly was purchased privately since her last race by Chef Bobby Flay and runs today first time for trainer Todd Pletcher. She'll prove to be very tough in this spot.
3rd pick: #2 (Star Orchid) - Finished only a neck back of "Bells of Concerto" last out and like that runner it was this mare's first start back off a layoff. She doesn't have as much speed as the top two picks, but should be closing fast down the stretch.
