Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #2 (BELLAMY WAY) (5-2) - Consistent 3-year-old has been competitive in all three starts at this level. Speed/stalker breaks just off the rail, is in shape, and Irad Ortiz Jr. is back on the re-ride. The horse to beat.
nd pick: #1 (Brimstone) (7-2) - Lightly-raced and speedy, he was an easy wire-to-wire maiden winner going a mile on the main Aqueduct surface Dec 2. He has the rail and catches a field where his early speed and inside post make him dangerous.
rd pick: #8 (Clifton Pleasure) (20-1) - Long shot ships in from Finger Lakes where he won two of four during the final part of this year. Strong finisher fits on figures and can impact at a big price.
th pick: #10 (Repent Twice) (4-1) - No-speed type draws a tough outside post for his late running style. Fits, but will need a fast and/or contested pace for anything more than a small slice.
th pick: #7 (Pierce's Prize) (30-1) - He has a bit of speed and may hold down a minor award at a very big price with a patient ride.
