Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #3 (SUPERNICKY) (6-1) - Price play tired last out after pressing the pace while wide. He had a tough outside post that afternoon and draws a much better slot this afternoon. In shape and speed/stalker can take this on the lead or from just off of it.
2nd pick: #11 (Daddy's Thief) (9-5) - He's making his New York debut and is racing for the first time since Sept. 19th. Home bred has gone 3-1-1-1 at Philly Park. He has the best overall 'figures' and is a major threat if able to avoid a wide trip from his marooned post.
3rd pick: #8 (Copernicus) (12-1) - Gelding tired after pressing the pace to check in 3rd here at this level Dec. 16th. It was his best overall and came fresh off a claim by Lou Miranda. Can grab a share of this at a big price if his latest effort is repeatable.
4th pick: #2 (Adam's Note) (5-1) - Lightly raced 4yo set a soft and pressured pace before weakening to finish a distant 2nd racing at this level going 6.5 furlongs Nov. 14th. It was his first back from an eight-month layoff, but against this better field he'll need to come from off the pace. Must be left in the mix.
