Top pick: #5 (FIDDLERS PATRIOT) - Lightly raced and very fast, he's been freshened-up by trainer George Weaver since tiring at this level going a mile on November 5. Latest work is solid and he'll be tough to beat today.
2nd pick: #10 (Extinguish) - Has a lot of speed and draws outside of "Patriot". He could stalk at one time, and with the removal of his blinkers today that may be their intent. Contender at a nice price.
3rd pick: #4 (Won Great Classic) - Had some talent earlier in his career, but he has quite ever repeated his success from that time. Always dangerous barn (Bruce Brown) runs him third off a layoff and shortens him up after a longer turf race. Nice longshot.
