Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #7 (VALIANT MAN) (5-1) - Price play finished third here at this level going 6 furlongs on the turf Nov. 9. It was his first since Feb. 18 and first off a private trainer change to Dave Donk. Barn move him to the dirt, stretches him out a furlong, and Irad Ortiz Jr. replacing Manny Franco.
2nd pick: #1 (Blewitt) (3-1) - Owned and bred by the Repole Stable this colt is a debuting son of 'Uncle Mo' who they raced a few years back. In steady training since early August, he's from the barn of Todd Pletcher (22% first out) and he has Johnny Velazquez aboard. A major factor if ready.
3rd pick: #2 (Zonic) (2-1) - The morning line and probable favorite, $325,000 son of 'Ghostzapper' is making his 10th start in search of his maiden win. He ran a career best figure when beaten a 'neck' at this level and distance Sept. 10 at Belmont and stretch runner is an obvious win candidate.
4th pick: #5 (Battle of Saratoga) (6-1) - Another making his debut, home bred by 'Union Rags' has some impressive works showing the Fair Hill training center. Trainer Graham Motion wins at an 18% rate first out and the presence of Javier Castellano suggests they like his chances.
