Top pick: #2 (MAGICAL CAT) - Irish-bred and raced filly by "Giant's Causeway" has only raced thre times, but has shown ability, was improving before coming to North America, and she gets to run with lasix for the first time. She broke her maiden in early July going 9 furlongs and followed that up with a solid second-place finish August 23rd facing males. Takes this if ready.
2nd pick: #7 (Singn On Themoon) - She's the in form speed and against this field that's a huge plus. Daughter of "Malibu Moon" comes here off a pair of sharp effort in Florida and has a pair of fine works at Belmont since coming north. Very dangerous.
3rd pick: #4 (Zultanite) - Lightly raced 3-year-old broke her maiden here on this course on Nov. 9 and was given the winter off. No-speed type is working steadily and Dominguez, who rode her in her win, is back aboard. May need a race or two.
