Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #9 (BELLAMY WAY) (9-5) - He's really developed over the past half-year, and he won two of his three starts this past winter on the inner surface here. 4yo finished 2nd at this level and distance on the main track Dec. 5th, he's training fast for this, and draws a great post at this 'flat,' one-turn mile.
2nd pick: #2 (Sioux) (4-1) - Freshened up for the past two months, he has early speed, and draws the rail. In the barn of leading trainer Rudy Rodriguez, and Irad Ortiz, Jr. is aboard. Dangerous at a square price with his best.
3rd pick: #1 (Lunar Rover) (8-1) - He's won two in a row, the latest coming fresh off a Danny Gargan claim. Stalker has talent and draws a good post. A relatively fresh horse, son of 'Malibu Mon' must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #6 (Waymond Boyd) (6-1) - Very lightly raced, he rallied to finish 4th last out at this level going six furlongs March 12. It was his first since Dec. 6th and first after coming here from California and joining the barn of Tom Morley. He cost $725,000 and still has room for up-side.
