2nd pick: #1 (Desiree Clary) (4-1) - She's one of three entered by trainer Chris Clement, and they all race as separate betting interests. German bred and lightly raced, no speed type kept good company racing in Europe, but has been sub par in all three starts in No. America. Can factor today following a ground saving trip.
3rd pick: #7 (Earring) (6-1) - Very lightly raced Irish import, she moves way up in class after missing by a 'neck' at Belmont Sept. 14th in her first race in No. America. Well bred, she's training nicely at Fair Hill, and I think she can factor at a square price.
4th pick: #3 (Promotional) (15-1) - Stretch runner is from the same barn (Tom Proctor) as 'Earring,' and the pair race uncoupled. Filly can 'run all day' and is the only horse entered who has won in the past on the Aqu turf course. A late threat at a big price.
