Top pick: #10 (MAYBRY'S CHALLENGE) (5-2) - Speedy grey gelding goes turf-to-dirt, drops into a claimer, and trainer George Weaver will be cutting him back in distance. Home-bred is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #4 (Geaux Mets) (4-1) - Lightly-raced colt has a new trainer (Dave Jacobson 28% with new arrivals) and he's freshened him up since Sept. 8. Grey juvenile raced evenly last out when facing a bit better and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Electric Currency) (6-1) - Son of "Exchange Rate" is one of four debuting today and he's in a good first out barn (Mike Hushion 22%). The works are steady and the latest on Nov. 16 was a nice half-mile gate breeze.
4th pick: #1 (Coffee and Donuts) (8-1) - Another making his first start and he was a tad better than "Currency" on the morning of Nov. 16. He has the rail and can factor at a nice price with a "clean" getaway.
