2nd pick: #1 (Mathematician) (5-1) - Lasix is added to colt who chased a quick pace before weakening late when debuting Sept. 23 at Belmont. He moves from the 12-post to the rail and enters of a bullet 5 furlong work Nov. 3.
3rd pick: #4 (Victor Lounge) (4-1) - Another Irish bred, he tired after racing of to an early lead when debuting Sept. 10 at Belmont Park. He's been working fast at Keeneland for trainer Wesley Ward (21% second time out) and returns as a NEW gelding. The presence of John Velazquez indicates the barn likes this one's chances.
4th pick: #9 (Unleveraged) (7-2) - Debuting son of 'Scat Dady' has been in steady training since late August for Chad Brown (19% first out). $200K purchase enters off a near bullet half-mile gate breeze at Belmont Nov. 12.
