Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #2 (MATCH UP) (8-5) - Gelding was entered for the main track only and his connections get their wish. Five-year-old moves up in class after a sharp looking win at this distance facing weaker Oct 7 at Belmont. It was a career best and came in his second back from a two month break following a Dan Gargan claim. Gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #1 (Tricky Citizen) (2-1) - Lightly-raced 4-year-old stays in despite having better form on the grass. Speed/stalker has been sharp in three straight on the turf and is a factor if able to repeat that form on a muddy main track.
3rd pick: #8 (Marchant) (4-1) - Well bred and lightly raced, he's another with fine turf form hat's racing on the man track. His lone previous dirt effort was poor, but he seems a better horse at this point.
