Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (YOU GOT IT) (7-2) - Freshened up since late September, he returns to action as a NEW gelding. $100K purchase by 'Midnight Lute' raced evenly in his first pair facing tougher. He's moving from an outside post to the rail and trainer Rudy Rodriguez is dropping him into a claimer for the first time (a 29% winning angle from the barn). He gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #7 (Zababa) (3) - Colt pressed a quick pace before weakening while between horses to finish 6th of seven when debuting facing tougher Oct. 10th at Belmont. From an excellent second out barn (Steve Asmussen, 23%), he's dropping him into a claimer (26%) and has Irad Ortiz, Jr. aboard. I almost made this colt the top pick.
3rd pick: #9 (Not So Quiet Man) (5-1) - He's gone 3-0-2-1 since coming here from Monmouth and dropping to this level. Stalker draws a nice outside post at this trip and Castellano stays aboard.
4th pick: #3 (Littlebitadominic) (6-1) - Blinkers go on and trainer Linda Rice drops this colt into a claimer. He raced evenly when debuting in the same Oct. 10th contest as 'Zababa' and will need to do better in this spot.
