Top pick: #10 (BRILLIANT JEWEL) - Nice debut saw this $400K daughter of "A.P. Indy" finish second at Belmont going 7 furlongs and she did so despite some trouble at the start. Working fast since, she draws a great post at this "flat" mile distance. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #9 (Lemon Belle) - She raced evenly going 6 panels at Belmont on Oct. 8 and trainer Chad Brown (29% second time out) has her working fast as he stretches her out in distance. Purchased for $400,000 this past April at Ocala and a big danger this afternoon.
3rd pick: #2 (Squeal) - No-speed type has already been this trip or longer twice and has picked up minor awards in each. Home-bred by "Tiznow" would benefit the most by a fast/and or contested pace.
4th pick: #1 (Beach Day) - Debuting filly by "A.P. Indy" is working well for her first start, but draws a tough inside post and is in a barn (Tom Albertrani) that rarely has them "fully cranked" first out.
