Top pick: #4 (LOOMIN LORI LOU) (5-2) - Filly has early speed and has been freshened up since finishing third here at this level and distance on Feb. 2. Well-bred and in a winning barn (Chad Brown), she's working fine and gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #2 (Riveressed) (2-1) - Home-bred has gone 3-0-2-1 to date and she moves from a tough outside post to an inside one. Speed/stalker had a sharp half-mile breeze at Belmont March 15th and is a strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #9 (Jazzminegem) (8-1) - Daughter of "Mineshaft" cost $100K last April and had a poor break from a tough outside post when debuting here Feb. 24. She's working fast since and is in a very strong 2nd out barn (Linda Rice 33%).
4th pick: #6 (Biscotti Girl) (10-1) - Philly shipper rallied to finish second there facing "open" special weight company on Jan. 20. Freshened up since, she's facing fellow New York-breds for the first time and is a late threat.
