Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (SHIFT CHANGE) (4-1) - Lightly-raced filly did not have the best of trips when finishing fifth of 12, beaten 8.5 lengths racing here at this claiming price Feb 6. It was her first back off a three month layoff and she was claimed that day by Tom Morley. New barn has worked her three times since and she's moving from the ninth post to the rail. Can break her maiden in this spot.
2nd pick: #10 (Queen of New York) (10-1) - Longshot ships up from Gulfstream where she's been tiring in a series of turf sprints. She has a new trainer (Abby Adsit) and she's moving her to the dirt and has her in with fellow New York breds for the first time.
3rd pick: #12 (Show Giant) (3-1) - One of two entered by trainer Gary Contessa and the pair of fillies race uncoupled. Speedy sort is improving and should be involved from start-to-finish.
4th pick: #9 (Marakovits) (5-1) - Freshened up since late January, filly has early speed and has finished second in two of her last three starts. She's worked twice this month and owner/trainer Charlie Baker is removing her blinkers following a one race experiment.
