Top pick: #5 (TAPULOUS) (3-1) - Gulfstream shipper has shown good early speed in both starts and has a pair of impressive works at Belmont since arriving on Long Island. Grey colt by "Tapit" is in the Pletcher barn and will be tough in this spot.
2nd pick: #2 (Incognito) (2-1) - The probable favorite, he rallied strongly to miss by a neck here at this level on Feb. 17. The winner that day ("Mr Palmer") came back to take another and this grey colt by "A.P. Indy" is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Ghareeb) (4-1) - Another son of "Tapit," this Shadwell Stable runner went evenly here in a sprint when debuting on Jan. 6. He's working sharply for this and trainer Kiaran McLaughlin wins at a 25% rate second time out and at a 28% clip when stretching runners out in distance.
4th pick: #1 (Rap d'Oro) (5-1) - Fair Grounds shipper has had some tough trips in his first three outings and this afternoon he draws a much better post for his new trainer (Mike Hushion 33% with new arrivals).
