Top pick: #2 (KEEP RIGHT) (2-1) - Broman home-bred has finished second in all three appearances, the latest coming on Jan. 25th when she finished second to "Saturday Bliss," who was our pick in today's fifth race. Working fast for this, and daughter of "Street Cry" is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #3 (Echluath) (5-1) - Price play has been freshened up since rallying to finish fifth of 11, beaten 5 1/2 lengths racing here at this level and distance on Jan. 12th. It was her first in two months, and grey filly by "Tale of the Cat" has the rail and should get a solid pace to rally into.
3rd pick: #6 (In Her Day) (7-2) - Home-bred by "Discreet Cat" tired after racing both close up and wide when debuting on Feb. 7th. Trainer, Linda Rice (who's been hot lately), has worked her since, and she wins at an excellent 35% rate second time out.
4th pick: #5 (Kevin's Steel) (8-1) - Mare by "Artie Schiller" ships up from Tampa where she tired in a pair of two-turn grass races facing "open" special weight foes. She has a new trainer (Gary Gullo), and may grab a share at a big price.
5th pick: #1 (Madison V.) (6-1)
