Top pick: #4 (EVIL GENIUS) - He finally showed some ability last out in his third trip to the post. Well-bet in all, he finished a pace-setting/pressing third last out at this level going 6 furlongs. Trainer Bruce Brown has him making back-to-back starts for the first time and he's the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #6 (I'm Hooked Up) - Colt had simply an "awful" time of it last out when attempting two-turns for the first time. He raced wide and rank and also had to "steady" early on before retreating through the field. Comes back quickly for this and is returned to a sprint. Goes well here at nice odds as trainer Bernie Callejas adds the hood.
3rd pick: #3 (My Friend Sandy) - He raced evenly last out from a wide post and draws better this afternoon. Trainer Scott Schwartz takes his blinkers off after a one race experiment.
