3rd pick: #10 (Flying K C) (3-1) - Speedy sort tired after stumbling at the break from a tough rail poat going a one-turn mile on Dec. 8. The move out in the gate is a plus and think she'll be involved from start-to-finish.
4th pick: #9 (Under Scrutiny) (20-1) - One of two longshot entered by trainer Rodrigo Ubillo and the pair race uncoupled. Freshened up since mid-Oct., home-bred is training fine and has raced evenly up to this point. Stretch threat.
5th pick: #7 (Willow U) (15-1) - The second of the Ubillo pair, she rallied to finish fourth last out and was 2 1/2 back of "K.C." that afternoon. Can grab a share at long odds with a bit of imprivement.
