Top pick: #4 (UNCLE SIGH) (6-5) - The probable favorite, he missed by a "head" in the mud here when debuting in a sprint on Dec. 7 and lost a lot of ground while racing wide. Well-backed that day, he's worked since and trainer Gary Contessa stretches him out in distance.
2nd pick: #6 (Giant Jo) (8-1) - Price play has been sharp in both grass starts and trainer Dom Schettino will race him on the dirt for the first time. Working nicely for this and think he'll be involved from start-to-finish.
3rd pick: #2 (Vagarious) (7-2) - Home-bred rallied to finish third after being bumped heavily at the start when debuting going a mile on a muddy track here on Dec. 7. He's worked since and breaks just off the inside in this two-turn contest.
4th pick: #8 (Pax in Terra) (5-2) - In the Pletcher barn, grey colt by "Mizzen Mast" rallied to finish third, 1 1/2 lengths back of "Jo" when debuting on the grass Nov. 10th. He's worked twice since and the barn wins at a 35% rate second time out.
