Trainer Bill Mott is dropping this $340K daughter of "High Cotton" into a claimer for the first time, and she breaks from the rail. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #9 (Roman Reign) (8-1) - Daughter of "Roman Ruler" tired last out going a mile facing tougher. It was her first off a private trainer change to Lisa Lewis and she brings her back quickly, drops her back down, and shortens her up in distance. Filly has gone 3-0-1-2 at this level sprinting in the past and is a threat in this spot.
3rd pick: #5 (Moldavite) (10-1) - Filly has shown fine early speed in all three starts and last out tired after having having a nice spot turning for home. Daughter of "Cosmonaut" has a better post today and should be in this from start-to-finish at a square price.
4th pick: #6 (Agate) (5-1) - Grey filly by "Holy Bull" was competitive in her first three sprints last winter/spring facing tougher. Freshened up since a poor effort going a mile in late May at Belmont, she's working steadily and is dropping into a claimer for the first time.
