Top pick: #3 (LIVININTHEFASTLANE) (4-1) - Lightly-raced daughter of (G1) winner "Bustin Stones" is improving and last out rallied to finish second after a troubled break and a wide trip at Belmont on Oct. 24. Can take this "wide open" contest with a clean getaway.
nd pick: #5 (Chicks and a Pig) (10-1) - She's had trouble at the start in both appearances and will be taking the big drop into claimers for the first time. Lasix is added, and at one time that was a huge positive angle for trainer Jimmy Jerkens.
rd pick: #9 (Archer Queen) (6-1) - She has a pair of changes for this attempt. Trainer Bruce Levine will drop her into a claimer and race her on the dirt, both for the first time. She's been racing evenly on the grass and should factor today on the drop.
th pick: #11 (Lucky Nancy E) (8-1) - Filly draws a tough post after she raced evenly last out for a $35K tag. Big specimen had a great spot turning into the stretch, but weakened in the final furlong. Drops farther down and can impact if she avoids a wide trip.
th pick: #2 (Positivevibration) (15-1) - Longshot has some early speed, breaks just off the rail, and will be dropping to a new low in price. Her early speed makes her a bit dangerous.
