Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (ST LOUIE) (2-1) - Gulfstream shipper received a very poor ride there March 16. Bottled up in traffic following a slow pace, he was beaten just under three lengths. Competitive in four straight prior to that, he has the rail, a different rider, and 5-year-old is two for three on the local turf.
2nd pick: #5 (Noble and True) (5-2) - Lightly-raced 4-year-old ships up from Philly Park where he was an easy maiden winner there at this distance on the dirt March 6. It was his first since July 29 at Saratoga when he missed by a 'nose' and was claimed by Dan Gargan for $30K. Competitive in his only previous turf start, this gelding by 'Giant's Causeway' is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #2 (Otto) (7-2) - Colt ships from Gulfstream where he finished on even terms with 'St Louie' March 16. It was his first in two months and he was working above average in Florida before heading north.
4th pick: #7 (Compagno) (8-1) - Very lightly-raced colt is facing winners for the first time. He broke his maiden at Gulfstream March 26 and will need to improve a bit in this spot. He's lightly-raced and well bred, so he's a bit dangerous at long odds.
