Top pick: #9 (SALISBURY KNIGHT) (3-1) - He's racing third back off almost a two month layoff and is stretching out to a mile. Well bred colt finished a troubled third April 2nd racing at this level going 6.5-furlongs. In the Jacobson barn, 4-year-old draws a nice outside post and gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #6 (Best Man) (5-2) - Florida invader has early speed and is stretching out after finishing a pace-setting second at Gulfstream Park going 6-furlongs March 7th. Fits with these and should be involved from start-to-finish. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (First Bid) (5-1) - Lightly-raced, he rallied while very wide to finish fourth going 6-furlongs for a $16K tag Feb 26. Race was his first in four months and well bred gelding was claimed that day by Rudy Rodriguez (34% fresh off the claim). New trainer moves him up in class and stretches him out to a mile.
4th pick: #2 (Son of Dixie) (6-1) - The probable early leader, he's gone 5-1-0-3 since coming off a pair of layoffs in early Nov. Fits with his best and once classier type has been competitive without winning at this distance in the past.
