Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (INDULGENT) (9-2) - Lightly raced 4yo has been freshened up since late January. Speed/stalker enters with three wins in a row and has been working very fast at Belmont for her return. Daughter of 'Bernardini' is racing in her first stakes, but can take this with her best.
2nd pick: #6 (Clipthecouponannie) (7-2) - New York bred enters undefeated. She's won all four starts and was training fast at Palm Beach Downs before shipping North. Home bred by 'Uncle Mo' won at Gulfstream Dec. 16 in her first back from a 10-month layoff and is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (Carrumba) (6-5) - The morning line favorite, Phipp's home bred has been on the sidelines since July 31. She went 5-1-3-1 in 'graded' stakes last year, but is not at her best distance here. Along with that fact, trainer 'Shug' McGaughey likes to bring them back slowly. A threat, but no bargain at a short price.
4th pick: #1 (Tale for Ruby) (8-1) - Lightly raced 4yo ships from Gulfstream where she won a mile contest facing weaker Feb. 24. A stakes winner at this distance Nov. 19 at Laurel, she may grab a share at a square price, especially if 'Carrumba' isn't in shape.
