Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #2 (NOUVELLE VAGUE) (5-2) - Irish bred filly raced both wide and evenly in an entry-level allowance Oct. 20th at Belmont. It was her first start since late March of 2015, and she most likely needed the effort. Trainer Chad Brown (20% second off of long layoffs) drops her down and has Castellano aboard. A sharp half-mile breeze Nov. 21st indicates her readiness.
2nd pick: #3 (Rosedale Arch) (8-1) - Mare has finished 2nd in three of her last four starts, all at this level. 5yo has more early speed than most and is a win candidate at a big price.
3rd pick: #5 (Talkn Til Midnight) (10-1) - Lightly raced daughter of 'Broken Vow' is facing winners for the first time. She rallied to win 'going away' at this distance here Nov. 4th, and that made her the only one entered who has won on the Aqu turf in the past.
4th pick: #1 (Bright Side Up) (12-1) - Another that's lightly raced, $100K filly by 'Exchange Rate' has been sharp in four straight on the grass. Stalker finished 3rd here at this level Nov. 6th and was only a 'neck' behind 'Rosedale Arch.' 3yo has a ground saving post and can factor at a square price.
