Top pick: #6 (PUGET SOUND) (8-5) - He drops a bit in his third back from a five month break and he's in the barn of leading trainer Dave Jacobson. Three-year-old rallied to finish fourt here at this trip on Nov. 13 and looks all set in this spot.
2nd pick: #5 (Schertzer) (5-2) - He's a stretch runner just like "Puget," and exits the same Nov. 13 as that runner. Gelding was a bit over two lengths back of that rival and can factor again this afternoon.
3rd pick: #3 (He Has Charm) (6-1) - Zito-trained gelding ships back from Finger lakes where he finished second of seven, beaten almost two lengths. Gelding by "Pleasant Tap" has more tactical speed than most, and in this pace-less contest that's a nice plus.
4th pick: #8 (Flowing Mane) (8-1) - Three-year-old takes a big drop and goes turf to dirt this afternoon. Gelding hasn't raced on the main-track since early January and he's a much better horse at this point.
