Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #8 (PLAYWRIGHT) (3-1) - Well bred 3-year-old raced both wide and evenly at this level going six furlongs at Belmont Oct. 27. It was his first in just over a year and he's brought back quickly, stretches out in distance, and draws a good post at this one-turn mile. Gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #4 (Arthur Avenue) (5-2) - The morning line favorite races wit blinkers on for the first time. He's finished second in two straight, the latest at this distance Oct. 9 at Belmont. Working above average and a serious win candidate.
3rd pick: #7 (Royal Ekati) (7-2) - Reported to be a runner before his debut, he hasn't lived up to the hype so far. However, he's a NEW gelding, is working fast, and Jose Ortiz is aboard for the first time. Must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #2 (Dan the Man) (8-1) - Stretch runner may grab a share with a late rally, but a win seems a bit of a reach at this point.
