Gelding tired badly after setting a pressured pace and hasn't seen action since. Working well and the barn of Wesley Ward drops him way down for his comebacker.
2nd pick: #1 (Entry of (1) Sincityeddie & (1a) Midnight Monarch) (4-1) - He had no chance last week when he "bobbled" at the start and was never involved. He's part of a Dom Galluscio trained entry and with jockey Cornelio Velasquez listed on both only one will go. The other half "Midnight Monarch" has been freshened up since he lost all chance at the break when debuting on Jan. 18.
3rd pick: #5 (Winning Gold) (8-1) - He's one of two entered by trainer Randi Persaud and the pair race uncoupled. Lightly raced colt is clearly improving and last out showed good early speed while racing wide. Can factor at a square price.
4th pick: #3 (Circadia) (20-1) - Longshot is the second of the Persaud dup and has rallied mildly in his last pair to finish fourth. May round out the tri and/or super at a big price.
