Top pick: #3 (RICH DALONE) (5-2) - Colt has good early speed and finished a pace-setting second here at this level going 6-furlongs on Feb. 8. It was his first since late Nov. when he was claimed by Bruce Levine at Laurel for $25K. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #1 (Battle Zone) (6-1) - Longshot has the rail, some early speed, and is dropping into a claimer for the first time. Blinkers go on and this gelding by "Read the Footnotes" should show whatever he has in this spot.
3rd pick: #6 (Rally for McNally) (20-1) - Blinkers and Lasix are added to gelding that raced evenly after a poor start when debuting here Feb. 28. Home bred had a bullet 3-furlong gate breeze March 13th, presumably with the hood on that he wears for this attempt.
4th pick: #5 (Call Me Stoney) (4-1) - He was competitive in his first pair but regressed in his last effort. Freshened up since that Jan. 23 try, trainer Bruce Levine adds blinkers and has him in a claimer for the first time.
