Top pick: #1 (SATURDAY BLISS) (6-5) - Filly impressed when going gate-to-wire to win by almost 12 lengths when debuting here in a six-furlong sprint Jan. 25th. She's worked twice since, and draws the rail as she stretches out in distance in her first facing winners. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #7 (Saratoga Shoes) (6-1) - She also was a debut winner here sprinting on Jan. 18th, and filly comes from the same barn (George Weaver) as "Bliss." Heavily backed that day, $130K 2yo in training purchase completes a strong hand from the Weaver operation.
3rd pick: #5 (G Note) (5-1) - Beautifully-bred filly was a very sharp maiden winner here on the main-surface going a mile on Dec. 8th. Daughter of "Medaglia d"Oro" ran poorly in a $100K stakes two weeks later in her first facing winners, and has been freshened up since.
4th pick: #2 (Molly the Freud) (8-1) - Stretch out sprinter won her debut here on Dec. 28th, then chased and weakened to finish third at this level on Jan. 23rd. She had a nice work on Feb. 23rd, and draws an inside post. Can factor at a square price.
