Top pick: #3 (SARATOGA SILVER) - One of two fillies entered by trainer Bruce Brown and the pair will race uncoupled. She has fine early speed and in her other three dirt starts grey daughter of "Silver Train" raced on "off" tracks. Blinkers go on and the surface will be fast. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #6 (Stray Bullet) - The second of the Brown pair goes turf to dirt and has a sharp work on the Belmont Training Track on Dec. 17. She's (4-0-1-2) on the dirt andruns third back off a two month break following a trainer switch. Stretch threat.
3rd pick: #5 (Sugar Beach) - She's finished second in 3-of-5 starst on the dirt and comes off a career best on Nov. 17 when she ran second at this level on a sloppy surface on the Aqueduct main-track. Working well for this and a win candidate.
