Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (TIZ A CHANCE) (5-2) - Colt has been sharp in all four starts racing on the grass. He's finished 2nd in three of those, and trainer Graham Motion has him racing on the dirt for the first time. Colt has enough speed to stay within a comfortable range and can win this turning for home if he handles the dirt.
2nd pick: #5 (Thirst for Glory) (4-1) - Well bred gelding finished two lengths behind 'Tiz a Chance' going a mile on the grass Nov. 27th. It was his second start back off a long layoff (7 1/2 months), and this 3yo has run well on the dirt in the past. Training above average and is a dangerous foe.
3rd pick: #6 (Mascarello) (9-2) - Stalker is improving and last out finished a distant 2nd to a 'much the best' winner going a mile Dec. 2nd. He's worked since, and it's apprentice Cancel off and veteran Cornelio Velasquez on.
4th pick: #7 (Super Psyche) (7-2) - He's been beat heavily in three straight, but doesn't seem to be improving. 'Mascarello' has beaten him in two straight, once by 2 1/2 lengths and last out by just under a length. Can factor, but others seem more likely to win this.
