Top pick: #1 (GREELEY PACK) (5-1) - Price play is dropping in class, shortening up in distance, and moving from turf to dirt. The rail post is a plus and he should get a fast and/or contested pace to rally into.
2nd pick: #8 (Domer) (3-1) - Very lightly-raced gelding by "Posse" broke his maiden by 6-lengths two back, but tired badly a month later facing tougher in his first facing winners. Drops down for this and his early speed makes him a win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Two Seventeen ) (5-2) - He had a lot of promise back in the winter/spring of 2012, but went in for a long layoff at that time and has never recaptured that form. He still has sharp early speed and that gives him a shot at this level.
4th pick: #5 (Keltic Fighter) (8-1) - Veteran has been freshened up since a pair of good back-to-back efforts at Belmont in the early fall. He's moving up in class and a small slice at a square price appears to be his ceiling.
