Top pick: #7 (ROYAL SUSPICION) (3-1) - Filly finished second here at this level and distance on Nov. 21 in her first back from a well-deserved two month vacation. She's been very busy over the past two years (28-4-11-4), with many fine efforts coming out of town facing "open" company. Stalker draws a fine outside post and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #5 (Stock Fund) (5-1) - She's very consistent, but most of her success has come on the turf. Filly has gone 8-0-2-1 on the main-track, and is more than capable if she can repeat her grass "figures" on the dirt.
3rd pick: #6 (Victoryat Last) (10-1) - Mare raced evenly in her latest, but was only two back of "Suspicion" at the finish. One-run type would love a fast and/or contested pace to develop into.
4th pick: #2 (Hot Splash) (7-2) - Speedy sort defeated $20K "open" claimers last out at Belmont, and will be racing first off a Jay Servis claim (a strong 29% winning angle). Filly is at her favorite trip (4-3-1-0), and must be left in the mix.
