Top pick: #7 (CELESTIAL KITTEN) - Daughter of "Kitten's Joy" has run well in her four starts (4-0-2-2) all on the grass including a close-up second-place finish on this course last Nov. She's ships up from Gulfstream off a pair of fine efforts facing tougher fields than this and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #5 (Far Isle) - Filly by "Indian Charlie" has raced well in all five of her grass starts and brings some sharp early speed to the contest. Training steadily for her first race since last July and a win candidate if ready.
3rd pick: #6 (Satwa Tune) - French import raced fine in three starts in her native country, but was away slowly at Gulfstream in early March in her U.S. debut and finished 10 of 12. Effort was her first in 9 months and she should be competitive in her second off the long break.
4th pick: #8 (Home Rule) - Home-bred from the Janney operation is beautifully-bred( like all of their horses) and has run second in two of her four turf starts. She went to Florida with the rest of trainer "Shug" McGaughey's string but daughter of "Empire Maker" hasn't raced since Nov. 14. Threat from off the pace.
