Top pick: #4 (PAYOUT) - Lightly raced finished 2nd last out facing slightly tougher despite being "bumped" heavily at the start. Race was his 3rd back off a long layoff and first ever in a claimer. Son of "Johannesburg" has a fast work since and can win this with a "clean" break.
2nd pick: #3 (Belfast Lad) - Speedy colt drops back into a claimer after tiring facing special weights in his last pair. He finished a close-up 3rd in his only previous appearance "tagged" and his fine early speed makes him dangerous.
3rd pick: #10 (All Zipped Up) - He finished a strong 2nd Oct. 9th at Belmont at this level, then tired last out facing tougher here going a mile. Drops back in for a tag and shortens-up in distance. Contender.
4th pick: #5 (Always Fishin) - He's been a maiden for a very long time, but has been competitive in many starts, all on the turf. Gelding by "Prime Timber" has some closing punch and should get a fast pace to rally into. The surface switch is a big question mark.
