Top pick: #4 (TROPHEE) (5-2) - French import has been freshened up since missing by a "neck" at Saratoga in her North American debut on Aug. 9th. Working steadily for this attempt, and she'll win this with any improvement whatsoever.
2nd pick: #3 (Miss Lech) (7-2) - One of two fillies entered by Chad Brown, and the pair race uncoupled. Daughter of "Giant's Causeway" has been competitive in all four grass starts, but has needed time off after every one. Stalker draws a nice post and is a win candidate from just off the pace.
3rd pick: #5 (Angel Choir) (8-1) - Longshot has fine early speed, and that's a big plus on this "tight" turf course. She's finished second in three of her last four on the grass and should be involved every step.
4th pick: #9 (Keri Belle) (12-1) - Well bred filly is trying the grass and making back-to-back starts, both for the first time. Moss home bred by "Empire Maker" is lightly raced, has early speed, and is bred to handle the turf.
5th pick: #8 (Strum) (6-1) - She's been in a position to win in three straight starts, but has come up empty at "crunch" time. Latest effort, her first on the grass, was acceptable and the "figure" earned was her best to date.
