Premium Pick

Top pick: #5 (STATE FLAG) - The probable favorite, Phipp's home-bred by "Street Cry" rallied to miss by a neck at this level going a mile at Belmont Oct. 26. Race was his first in 80 days and a repeat of it can lead him into the winner's circle.

2nd pick: #4 (In Speight Ofitall) - He just ran here on Saturday and it was a strong effort going 7 furlongs on the main track. Colt has been competitive in all four starts and may actually be better on the grass. Tough foe if he stays in.

3rd pick: #2 (Lure of the South) - Gelding is a bit of a professional maiden with 17 starts already, but he comes off a career best when finishing second at Belmont Oct. 25 when racing at this level and distance.

4th pick: #1 (Anthem) - Grey colt by "Unbridled's Song" pressed and tired when debuting in an off the turf contest at Belmont on Sept. 19. Home-bred is working fast for this, he draws the rail, and trainer Chad Brown is always better second-time out (29%).
