Top pick: #8 (AMERICA) (8-5) - This race has been switched from the turf to the main-track and shortened up from 1 3/8ths miles to 1 1/8th. Daughter of "A.P. Indy" has a huge class edge on the other four that stayed in and stakes placed filly has been working nicely at Belmont. Owned and bred by celebrity chef Bobby Flay, 3yo should beat these with a clean break.
2nd pick: #1 (Tizallheart) (9-2) - Daughter of "Lion Heart" is coming off a pace-setting second place finish at this level on the Belmont turf on Oct. 5th. She's winless on the dirt (6-0-1-1), but her early speed and rail post should make her competitive. 4yo has a solid shot at completing the exacta.
3rd pick: #11 (Agawa) (4-1) - Canadian bred has the best overall form once you get past "America," but it's all come on the turf. Bred to handle the dirt (she's by "Curlin"), and presume that her new trainer (Chris Englehart 20% with new arrivals) thinks she'll handle the surface switch.
