Top pick: #3 (STATELY CAT) (5-2) - Well-bred filly was an easy gate-to-wire maiden winner here at this distance on Feb. 15. Daughter of "Tale of the Cat" was claimed that day by Linda Rice for $16K and she moves her up a bit in price in her first facing winners.
2nd pick: #2 (Missed a Wildcat) (4-1) - Filly has been freshened up since getting her maiden win here on Jan. 30. Trainer Juan Guerrero has her nicely spotted off the 7 week break and she's a win threat right back.
3rd pick: #1 (Precious Franca) (10-1) - Price play has the rail and will be stretching out in distance in her first off a Karl Grusmark claim (4 for his last 16). Last fall at Laurel she was competitive in her only try at this distance
4th pick: #5 (Bozique) (3-1) - Gulfstream shipper broke her maiden there on Feb. 13, then just missed on March 3rd in her first facing winners. She has a new trainer (Steve Klesaris) and this grey filly fits with these.
