Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (SCORECARD HARRY) (5-2) - Speedy sort missed by a 'neck' here at this level and distance Feb 19. Schwartz home bred may have been best that day as he had some serious traffic problems in the final 100 yards. It was his second back from a 3.5-month break and a career best overall. Mike Hushion has worked him twice since, including a half-mile bullet breeze at Belmont March 5.
2nd pick: #1 (Gorelli) (4-1) - Improving and lightly raced, he rallied while wide to finish third, just a bit over a length behind 'Scorecard Harry' Feb 19. One-run type has the rail, has worked since, and Kendrick Carmouche stays aboard.
3rd pick: #5 (Squeeze Thetrigger) (8-1) - Longshot raced evenly when debuting here Feb 20 at this level and distance. He had the rail in a large field (10) and that's often an intimidating place for a first-time starter. Broman home bred by 'Lemon Drop Kid' has worked three times since and moves off the inside.
4th pick: #7 (Benevolence) (5-1) - One of two making their debuts, he's been in steady training at Belmont since early January. He cost $90,000 as a 2-year-old in training last May and is in a solid first out barn (Kiaran McLaughlin 23%). Gelding had a nice gate breeze March 13.
