Top pick: #9 (INDIGENE CHARM) - Gulfstream invader finished second there racing for $25K going 8.5 furlongs on Jan. 14, then tired badly last out under a similar scenario on a sloppy surface which he obviously didn't seem to care for. He's worked at Belmont since shipping and trainer Jimmy Jerkens adds blinkers (a 23% winning angle). The horse to beat.

2nd pick: #2 (War Hitch) - Trainer Gary Gullo is one of those on this circuit that does a very god job while being "under the radar". He claimed this son of "War Front" last out for $12.5K from trainer Bruce Levine and brings him back on short notice(11 days). New barn raises him slightly in price and stretches him back out. Colt can be involved from start to finish.

3rd pick: #1 (Pegasus Papou) - This is start No. 26 for this professional maiden and he's garnered 11 minor awards with most coming at or around this tag. Has the rail, Dominguez is back on the re-ride, and this 4-year-old should be in this down the lane.
